Nice...2 in one day

My apologies if this is the wrong section, I figured since it's fab related, it'd be fine. Not to mention it'd get the most attention here rather than Cherokee Chat.

Anyway, I'm looking for custom ZJ metal taillight housings. Don't appear to be that hard to make, but I don't have the knowledge nor the tools. No one apparently makes them since there isn't a huge market. My local fab shop said they'd charge $300 to make them. I guess if they're ultra beefy and custom machined and included lights, I guess it'd be justifiable, but that doesn't work for me. I have Rusty's HD taillights on my XJ, so a similar metal would be fine.

That looks fine. Wouldn't mind that gap being closed, but I don't care. Some window trim would fix that. All I'd need is an additional 2'' hole on the bottom (one on each housing) for a turn signal. The big 4'' hole will have a brake/reverse hybrid.



So can anyone make these? Or know someone who would? I emailed another shop, and they'd do it, but they don't have a ZJ to look at and I don't want to mess up my dimensions or something.
