Default GC questions

I have a 94 GC with about 156000 on the clock and my problem is, it sounds like an airplane. What I mean by that is it sounds like radiator fan is on all the time. I have replaced the fan clutch and still sounds the same. What else could be causing this? Oh and I have 5.2 V8 engine stock everything.

My 94 sounded the same way.. I junked the fan and went to a mark VIII fan from a Linclon contenial 3.8 . Great fan 2 speed and very easy swap.. Also got a controller from Direct DC Currant. sells a great controller for about $80. Now very quite, until I put on the new muffler.. no/very little baffle... Sounds great..

Did you notice any horsepower gain with the switch to the electric fan?

Did you use a new or a new-to-you fan clutch?

well remember mine has 205000 on it and horsepower is in a thing of preseption.. If dose seem to have more get up and go.,, a lot less noise and it idles smoother.. did pick up about 1.5 to 2 miles per gallon in daily driveing.. so I guess the answer is Yes..
