Buy a quality kit, do not cheap out and cut corners, you'll be much happier with the results and have fewer problems. How high do you think you want to go?

Don't cheap out for sure.

First things first, decide what size tires you want to run, and choose a lift kit accordingly. Let us know the kits you're considering, and we'll let you know whether it's a good idea or not. We'll let you know what you're going to have to add to the kits to make them complete as well.

Yeah, not so much.

I've seen people run 33's on a 2" BB with help from a sledge hammer and a sawzall. A little bit of fender trimming will allow you to run more than 30" MT's on 5" of lift...

i've got 33's on a 4.5 lift and they still rub a little under extreme flex, even with a little fender trimming. But if this truck is gonna be a mudder I guess it wouldn't flex as much anyway?
