future tyres
in the near future when i upgrade, i would like some new wheels, am i better keeping 16" rims for the tyres or buying smaller 15" rims? at first they will be fitted with standard road/slight off road tyres, mainly for a long road trip over the summer abroad, then later for 50/50 off road as a daily driver as well,
whatcha think?

I've found that 16 inch tires usually cost more and that there is a little better selection of 15 inch tires. Alot of the new wheels are coming out in 16 and 17 now and not in 15 so that is something to consider. An All Terrain tire would suit your needs great. You might look for a package deal of tires and wheels.

Yea 15 inch wheels generally have a better tire selection when it comes to upgrading. Otherwise there really isn't a difference. Look at the Pro Comp Rock Crawlers series 52. It's one of the cheaper steel wheels.
You'll probably want to look at a 15 x 8. Also, they are backspaced so keep that in mind. They are going to push the wheels out about an inch or two outside the fenderwells
