Front end vibration
I just got a 99 WJ. At 65 the front end vibrates like crazy, feels like I'm driving on the rumble strip. The guy I bought it from said he hit a huge pothole, but I jacked up the front end and the wheels don't have any play, but I checked the front drive shaft and it wiggles about a half inch. Could this be the source of so much vibration? Side note: I asked the local off-road supplier and he said it was a center bearing but when I checked with the dealership they said there is no center bearing in the front drive shaft.

first off have the tires balanced, then check the trac bar and bushings and stabilizer shock for movement when up in the air. then report back..could be a driveshaft but check your tires first then work your way through the suspension parts.
