it is possible you have an issue with your CV axle. In my ZJ, I was traveling a lot in the mountains. At some point or another, I ripped my CV boots on some debris and gravel/silt/sand what have you was able to get in there and start grinding up and pitting the bearings.
After a while of that, the parts in the CV joint wore out, causing my steering to have a lunging clunk at the end of a large turn. It gradually worsened to the point it would do it halfway through the turn and the truck would jar and shudder.
The answer is a new CV axle. Good news is they are only about $160 each, you might as well do both of them at the same time (paint pens and dates, people!) to save you the trouble of having to do the other later.
Job is a couple of hours.

Hi Auger thanks for the reply I have changed the left side drive shaft the right side is not split at all but might change it anyway just to be sure, I have read on some forums that there is another joint on the diff side of the drive shaft which i might need to look at, also trying to find out if there is any difference between a quadra drive and quadra trac11 drive shaft as mine is quadra-trac11 and the drive shaft i bought turns out to be quadra drive but fits perfect thanks, Im based in UK

Don't quote me on this, but I think the difference is in the drive axles, not the driveshaft. The Quadra-Drive has a locker in the front diff requiring longer axles.
