Default front driveshaft q's
the cv joint on my front driveshaft blew up, and when i was taking it out, i noticed that the slip joint is pretty stiff. even when the little nut is completely loose. my question is, how freely should the slip joint move? i know on my bmw's that i used to have they would just slide apart when loose.

They adjust to length then tighten up from the factory. That is normal.
