Front Differential -actuator?
I was checking my suspension today (need to put new boots on my CV joints) and found a tube hanging down.
The tubing attaches at the top of my front differential and plugs into a plastic fitting mounted underneath (and offset a bit) of my brake fluid reservoir. 3/8 fuel line fit it just fine and I've got a new length of tubing ran.
This seems like it would be an actuator line for my front differential? There is no information in my Haynes manual. What is this tubing for and what are the ramifications of it being cut and left like that for a long period of time.
It's fixed now, I'm just wondering what it was. Thanks in advance.
