hey guys. new to jeeps and 4x4s in general. i have a 94 grand cherokee laredo 4x4 all the time and stock axles. the other day i took it to the east road pits and after about 15 minutes or so i got out and realized there was a line laying on the ground. one end goes into the top of the front diff and im assuming the other side goes to the intake manifold, but im really not sure where it goes. any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's just a vent hose, it runs up and clips on to the side of the air cleaner assembly. It does not connect to any vacuum source.

well my 91 has the same hose and mine runs from the diff up to a vaccume plastic tube.....

 

thats a disco axle it is able to be disengaged when in 2wd
