Hi every one
I am new to the forum, so I hope I am posting my question in the right place.
I have a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee which had a noisey signal flasher unit. I purchased a new Tridon EP27 electronic flasher to replace the old one. When I changed it, it would start to click continuously as soon as the ignition key was on. The signal lights outside or on the dash did not come on, yet it clicks as if they were. When I use the signals or emergency flashers they work fine, but it clicks continuously while you are driving.
I took the new flasher back and exchanged it but it did the same thing.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so how did you fix it?
Thanks
Rick

Anyone know how to fix this? I bought a 99 cherokee, and it was doing the samething. I noticed I got some water on my steering column, I'm going to let it dry out and hopefully that is the problem.

Could be your security module. I'd recommend finding it and disconnecting it. A lot of Cherokee and Grand Cherokee owners do that. It saves a lot of headaches. (:
