Default First time wheeling it

well finally got to go. Joined a small jeep club.

we went into the mountains camping and wheeling. Was a blast till I broke a CV axle almost back to camp. Jeep held its own with these others. Parked by them it makes me want a huge lift and 35s. but for now I need to find u-joint axles to replace this junk. Covering something with a rubber boot and hose clamps seems a little week for going in the mud and water holes we drove through. And it turns out they are.

Look again one CJ one TJ and one YJ.
If the CVs are greased well they will hold up almost as good as a u-joint. When I had mine I bought some at the parts store for $50 bucks each and had a lifetime warranty so when they broke I got another.
