Default Finally, got a motor !

Well, I went and bought the 4.0 for my wifes Jeep today. Now for the hard part lol Installation is a pain!

But, its gonna be worth now that she will be able to use her trail rated again to go to walmart and stuff.

06 Wrangler 4.0, 6,000 miles and only $1,100.00

They have more than a few Jeeps and Cherokees for parts or buildables.

E & K sales, Burlington Indiana, #765-566-2024 very good guys to deal with!

My dad and I were wanting to go there some time... That is the place that specializes in Jeeps right?

Did they have many WJs? And is this place open on Saturdays?

Almost got the motor out. Unbolt the tranny and the motor mounts and its heave ho for the 4.0 with a hole from the #2 piston going and the rod beating thru the block. lol

Hipefully I will have the motor exhumed from the GC and start installing the TJ motor around noon !

I can see how it wouldnt be, just the fact that you have a 6000 mile engine is the cool part... These newer 4.0s have way more electronics than an '87... that would confuse me for sure...

Yeah, but they are all pluggnplay ! lol

they are easy if you have ever messed with wire harnesses bfore.

I have worked on many 89-93 mustangs and the pluggs are spot specific. same as these Jeeps.
