hey all...im sure im not the first with frustrations about this...but I just replaced the oil pan on our 2002 GC and of course the exhaust needs to be moved. so I was all excited to get everything back together..and the last thing was to get the exhaust back in place.

left side....done.... had just enough space to get my hand in there to place the nuts..to meet the bolts.

Right side.... different story. forget it. I can't get the two to meet...and there is absolutely no place to fit a hand to keep the nut from falling off the flange. @#$# blind connections. Anyone have any good methods for doing this? I really don't want to move the starter..but looks like i need to.

so..now my wife is stuck at home with her nice oil pan...for 4 days...in a vehicle that sounds like one of the dragsters over at the 1/4 mile dragstrip ...

im at wits end.
