engine replacement

I have a 2002 grand cherokee with a blown 4.0 engine, what years are interchangeable if I buy a used one, dukester

Year: 2000 XJ Sport & WJ Laredo

Model: Grand Cherokee (WJ)

Engine: 4.0L

As far as I know, any 4.0 from 1999 to 2004 is a plug-and-play. Other years have motor mount and accessory mounting differences. I just did a little research on-line and didn't get any definitive answers.
