Now... Removing your ABS system.... That would scare me to do... The ABS is tied into to many systems... The body control module has a list in it of every module in the car and over the can bus system checks each module on start up... Not sure what cutting it out would do. But I would start out by unplugging the module and clearing the codes and see what happens when you start and drive your truck.
