Default Out Of Place Plastic hanging from under car.

Hello, Ive just purchased a 2017 Grand Cherokee Altitude. I just happened to notice while changing the license plate cover this weird green plastic hanging from underneath drivers side back wheel. I gave it a quick tug and it is definitely attached to something. Any ideas with this could be? I'm really trying to avoid going back to the dealer as it is a good trip away. Thanks in advance.

Pictures are small but it looks like the bands they put around the struts during shipping. Definitely shouldnt be there. Must have gotten missed at the factory/dealer.

Thanks for the reply. I want to just cut it off, but i guess it would be safer to just have them make sure at the dealership.

Just something to improve your day. The worst case of production line errors I've ever seem was a Buick my uncle actually bought that had chrome trim on the driver's side and no trim, not even holes to mount it, on the passenger's side! We never let him live that down! The dealer's body shop fixed it real quick. Of course they had to order the parts!

My brother caught it when my uncle was showing us his new ride! Duh!
