Driveshaft Grease Fittings
Yesterday I was doing an oil change and lube job on the GC. I wanted to find out why my driveshaft has a grease fitting on the rear u joint but non on the front. So I finally took a real close look. I found that the grease fitting hole was covered with a cap and the cap was covered in dirt and not visible.
I did have find a grease fitting, in my grease fitting container, that was the right size and put it on. The only problem I have is that the grease gun connector is too wide and a very tight fit. I did manage to force it on and grease that u joint that has not seen grease in a good while.
I am going to sand down the gun connector a bit for easier access. This just for FYI. Might be worthwhile to check.
