2007 JGC Limited 4.7l Flex
Here are the issues and findings so far:
1. Noticed locks had stopped working with buttons and key fob.
2. Discovered fuse 7 was blown. Should have been a 20 amp but had previously been replaced with a 25 amp.
3. Replaced blown fuse with 20 amp and immediately popped it. Put in 25 amp popped it. I even put in a 30 amp and it popped as well.
4. Now with that said, I can still hear a click under the dash when either button pushed or key fob with a blown or no fuse.
5. Today I found out it only blows fuses when locking the doors. All is good if you unlock them.
6. Pulled front door panels off one at a time to remove switch. No change, still blows fuse when window/door lock switch removed/unplugged. To me that says the switches are good. Also one at a time I unplugged the wire that went to the door lock actuator. Driver's first and then passenger. No change, still blows fuses when locking.
7. If I manually lock a door or two, it will lock the other doors fine, no fuse issue. But will not lock all 4 at the same time without blowing fuse.
8. I did not pull rear door panels to try unplugging wire from rear lock actuators. Should I?

I really don't want to have to carry to a dealer to fix. I'm open to advice or suggestions. Thanks!
