The problem exists as soon as the tank is less than half the gasoline, the car ceases to go. Perhaps the problem in the gasoline pump, fuel pump or the grid, your opinion? Thanks in advance.

It could be a bad sending unit for the the fuel gauge, a bad gauge, or a loose screen or cracked rubber line in the tank. Hard to say from here.

When you pull the pump, look at it real good, make sure the screen and eveything else is intact and in one piece. Since you mentioned the problem is half tank or less of fuel. Something might be cracked or broken and letting the pump suck air and lose fuel pressure.
I am basically repeating what ol"blue said, but I have seen this before.

I sold it to my son for $3,000 dollars. The Jeep dealer put a brand new transmission in it 2 years ago that cost $2,400.
