Hey Guys i currently own a 94 XJ but am looking at buying a 2004 WJ as my daily driver. It has 22,XXX miles on it and seems to be in great shape but i wanted to check with you guys if there was anything i should look for in particular or if there is anything about the 2004 that makes it better or worse than other years. Thanks Also just FYI it seems that the transfer case has 4 settings? 2WD, 4 PartTime, 4 HI, 4 LO..... is that the normal for these animals?

Depending on the price, i'd go for it. That Jeep has a Selec-Trac transfer case, so those selections are normal. The selec-trac IMO is better than Quadra-drive, which was the other option for WJ's. In 2004 they had some slight style revisions, changing the grill & front bumper, but that's really about it. What trim level is it?
i bought mine recently with relatively high kms (170K) and it is awesome. what are they asking? drives amazing and is near silent in the cabin. love it so far. luxury trail killer, can't beat that! i have the quad trac II but don't do much for crazy off-road. unfortunately for me I had a strict price budget but am so far very happy with it.
