Unhappy Dash Tweeters

I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The front Tweeter Speakers, one more than the other, sounds like there is a loose piece of paper in the speaker and it is very annoying. I have disconnected the right passenger side speaker which I thought was the problem and found the left drivers side speaker was making a similar noise.
It seems strange that both speakers would go bad at the same time. I connected a small speaker in place of the existing, and it sounds OK. Has anyone had both speakers go at the same time or is it something else.

Does anyone now where I can buy replacement speakers. I know I can buy them at a Jeep dealer, but they are $50.00 each.
