I have a 99 grand Cherokee wj. Im looking to put a Rough Country 4" Long Arm Suspension Lift Kit on it but I don't know exactly which front axle yokes I need to upgrade to. Can Anybody help? I need to avoid axle vibration . Thanks

First you need to know if you have a cv at the axle or a u joint yoke. If it's a u joint you'll be fine. If it's the cv you'll need to swap it out to a u joint style and get a matching drive shaft. It's a fairly easy swap. Check the torque on the pinion nut, pull it off and swap the yokes, replace the seal since you're there anyway and they are cheap, install the new one and torque to the same specs and bolt in the new drive shaft.

Yoke off of dana30 ZJ or XJ. Drive shaft out of 96-98 ZJ & a yoke from a 2002 -2004 WJ has to be non CV Type fairly easy to find in pick n pulls for under $150 for complete swap. Ditto on seals as mentioned above.

A little caution on torquing the pinion yoke. You have to remove the front tires and brakes, then check the "torque-to-turn" the pinion. It will be inch-pounds. The nut is a pinch-nut and requires many FOOT-POUNDS to remove and install. When installing the new one, take up all the slack and then keep checking the "torque-to-turn" until the spec is no more than 2 to 3 inch-pounds more than it was. Overtorquing can ruin the pinion bearings.

Been there, done it, suffered the consequences.
