Cruse
My Cruse Control Stopped working...Now I went though the service manual tree. And I am pretty sure that it is a fuse. But I can' t for the life of me find a digram for the one under the hood. The one in the lid shoes just the amperage.
Her is the problem, The light does come on but when i press "SET" button, nothing.. I did my best to check for leaks. And I was messing with the throttle body so I went though to make sure that the cable is still working.
Now, I was told the the Heated window and the Cruse are tied together And i was messing with my heated window the other day. Trying to see if it works. Because winter is coming up. So I think i triped something.
Thanks!

I have been playing around and checked every fuse i can find. under the hood. All are ok.
I can't seem to find a cruse fuse under the cover near the glovebox.
So any ideas?

Same here. Looks like most of it is a vacuum issue if your electronics are coming on. There is a thing on the passenger side north of the battery if you are facing the front of the jeep. there is a vacuum line that runs to the intake and a cable that runs to the intake. Check the hose and there is also a hose that runs into the bumper and there is something in there too, just not sure what that is. I think that is the extent of it. as long as this is a cherokee, not a grand. I'm looking under the bumper tomorrow, see what it is.

I've heard of issues with the clock spring also but study up on this as blindly messing around could set off your air bag[I think insurance only covers whiplash during a moveing violation]

The CC is controlled by the PCM and I don't think there is a fuse for the system. A lot of the failures are vacuum related. Check the vacuum line. I check the vacuum with a hand vacuum pump. Also, the CC circuit goes thru the brake light switch. These can fail too or get out of adjustment. Check the wiring and operation of the brake switch. If all this looks good, it may be the CC servo that is bad.
The line going to the bumper may be going to a vacuum reservoir. I believe there is one in that area. A vaccum test would be the best way to check.
If you are having problems with other things that use vacuum, then vacuum may be the problem.
