Are you driving this Jeep everyday? And does the noise come from one side or the other in the rear? Or evenly? Have someone stand out of the Jeep while you drive by then, both directions.
Or, honestly, I'd start looking at the rear wheel bearings. At some point, you need to just get your hands dirty. You have a long weekend coming up - Get her in the air and get those wheels off. Wheel bearings are the things most people neglect during brake jobs. In my shop, we usually did wheel bearing inspections (and repack if not wet lube bearings) with each brake service.
You should still replace those rear shocks, too, if you can afford to do it now.

I thought you said it was coming from rear. And if it's your VC, you will have problems turning your front wheels and/or they will sound like bad CV's when transfer case hot.
Hey, it's like this... don't know what the qualifications are of the other people helping to diagnose, I just know mine. I owned a shop for 10 years. Whatever you decide to do, make sure you are listening to someone with some experience. But you need to start doing something to your GC, before it comes apart on you. Tearing down the rear brakes to look at wheel bearings will only cost you time and seals. Post once you find something. I'm curious to hear what it is.

I had a squeak/creaking that was coming from my 95 GC everytime I made a corner...left or right it did not matter. It turned out to be the rear sway bar mounts(bushings) and links. I removed the swaybar and took it for a ride.....no more noise, so I ordered the parts and put everything back.

well ive already inspected the rear suspension. and found the shocks look like crap. all the bushing look good. the diff is full and there are no shavings. i looked at the rear brakes they are both good nothing rubbing.

Some comments:
Just because the shocks are leaking doesn't mean they are bad- they could be gas shocks. They do look very old and worn.
I agree with willys44 on the sway bar too. That is something you can check without throwing parts at it. I think that could be some of your noise, but not sure if it it is all of your noise, because driving/ heat worsens it.
If it's coming from the front, I'd consider the VC, and try a friction modifier. And a friction modifier might not be bad idea in rear diff, if the wheel bearings look okay. (Not to solve the problem, but because you said it's had no maintenance.)
So, like willys44 said, time to start getting your hands dirty.

heres the rotor. Once again idont know if this is normal or not. some one else suggested rear u joints on the ds and my ds was solid. springs look straight all the bushing are good. tomorrow im going to add some friction additive to the diff and see if that helps

These are your parking brake shoes. I would start with sway bar bushings (23.00 + shipping for poly or use stock ones available at Advance). If that doesn't do I would buy new shocks, yours are probably original and I would say they are shot. The bushing in the pic looks cracked.
