My son jumped a 4 cylinder with the v8 2000 gc, and the 4 cylinder stalled the jeep 3 times. The next morning the jeep wouldnt start, so we started looking at what the issue was. So far chasing codes we have put a new PCM in, new crank positions sensor (did not find TDC as i was told it wasn't necessary to). The jeep still will not start, i have fuel in the rails, but no spark. with the new crank position sensor the tach will bounce a little, but still does not go past the 100 rpm mark.
the battery has been taken out multiple times so there are currently no codes and since it wont start there is no way i can tel to get codes generated aside from draining the battery due to cranking.
any ideas or advice please help, the jeep has sat for 12+ months with this crank no start issue.

 

Check every fuse. Check the fusable link for continuity. Check for+12V at every fuse under the hood with a volt meter and key on, check both sides of each fuse. Check for +12 at the coil. Check for fuel pressure. Check for +5v at the CTS, MAP, and TPS sensors. Disconnect the alternator and see if that makes any difference.

What do you mean you did not find TDC with the crank sensor? You did put a MOPAR crank sensor in, right?
