Pacific Coast Manuals- Think I found them Free
I was going to buy a pacific coast manual, having heard they are pretty handy and like 2000 pages long, and then I found this-
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2q...TI1/view?pli=1
Seems to be one of them, although I'm not sure what year it's for specifically(just says WJ). Anyways, I thought some of you guys might find this useful and was hopeful that someone could chime in and
let me know if this is one of the pacific coast manuals.

Looks to me like a pirated and shortened copy of one. The Group Tab Locator is totally different and leaves a lot out. Some of the tabs are labeled wrong. Mine is for the 2000 WJ and even has stuff for the diesel models that weren't available in the US. Worst of all, it leaves out the wiring diagrams that you're going to need for a vehicle this old.
Bite the bullet and buy a REAL copy! They are year specific and don't have stuff for models and years you don't have. If it's in your specific manual, that's exactly what's in your jeep.

Okay I suppose I'll buy the real thing, thanks for the info! Should I go with pacific coast or do you recommend a better source? I noticed the price is now $15 when you click on them, rather than the $7.99 that is initially displayed.

Yeah, well....have you noticed what's happened to the price of gasoline lately?

In my opinion, the only other better way is to buy the original Jeep Service Manual that is amazingly expensive and is no longer in publication for your year. There are many aftermarket copies of this, but I doubt any are as complete as Pacific Coast. Before I bought one, I downloaded a copy of the ATSG Chrysler 42re Techtran Manual and it's got greasy fingerprints and side notes in Russian in it! All the information in it was the same as what is in the Pacific Coast one. All 150 pages if it! I actually printed out that one and put it in a looseleaf binder. It took forever to print because all I had at that time was Verizon DSL!
When I open a section of the manual, it opens in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and the type is quite small, but you can magnify the page or section of a page and it becomes very clear. If you print out a page, it's readable with no problems. You can print out what you're working on, then throw it away or save it for later, at your discretion. Another nice thing is it has ALL the trouble codes in numerical order so you can easily find them.

Sorry to hear the price has gone up, but i purchased mine at $8 over a year ago. has definitely been the greatest single resource I have ever found, and even was able to correct a CHRYSLER MASTER TECH about some misinformation. HAYNES cant even come close to comparing in details. And using this manual in Adobe Acrobat(FREE DOWNLOAD) makes everything a clickable link. Easy navigation and always more information that i could ever use. I would buy again at $15 if I had to.

RockAuto has a digitized version of the Mopar FSM —under the merchant name of Bishko. Comes on CD. Obviously, make sure it's for your year.
I'd take that over a 3rd party manual any day, unless it's Cruiser's notebook
