Default Coolant reservoir interchangable?

Hey all. I have a 1994 grand Cherokee Laredo 4.0 i6 and am in need of a coolant reservoir. The local junk yard has one but not only is it out of a 1997, but it's out of the 5.2 v8. Would that bolt right onto my 4.0? Thanks in advance for the feedback.

Take yours out and take it to the yard and compare it. You can tie a water bottle to the fender with the hose in it to drive it there.

I would but I don't have one in my rig. Lol. I've been filling the radiator manually as needed and I'm getting tired of doing that. I called a junk yard that's closer that have a few zj's there so I'm going to swing by that place tomorrow and pull one out. Thank you for the idea though!

I went to the junk yard and they had it of late 80s models that were completely different. Luckily I found one 95 zj that still had the tank in it. On top of that the guy working the register gave it to me for free!! every other place I called were charging 50 bucks.
