Default coolant problem

To whom it may concern, I have a 1996 grand Jeep Cherokee 5.2L with a coolant sensor bad on my Message display. I change the coolant sensor and still I am getting a coolant sensor bad. What am I missing that the display is still showing the same warning "coolant sensor bad" could someone help me out.
Thanks in advance Santos

Not trying to be a smart---, just gets old. Did you search "coolant sensor bad"? If you did, or will you will find your answer, instead of posting an problem that has been posted to death. People on here are more than willing to help, but when it is an issue like this, it is obvious that you are unwilling to use the search feature and help yourself, therefore you will not get many responses from the more knowledgable people on this forum. I am just trying to help you help yourself, and not look completely incompetent or just lazy. You can solve 90% of issues by using the search feature and never make a single post.
People are very willing to help, but only if you are willing to help yourself.

Its usually a bad solder connection inside the VIC that brings about the Coolant Sensor Bad message.
