Default Coolant leak

I just bought a 2006 Jeep Grande Cherokee on Saturday. Since then I have replaced the thermostat housing unit where the original leak was from. Now I am leaking coolant with a steady drip just under the petcock valve. Its not the valve as I made sure it was secure and not leaking. I believe it is coming from the radiator. I think I may need a new radiator. I wanted to see if anyone had any advice or had the same issue. If I take it to a mechanic how much am I looking at? Also will it hurt to drive it for a day until I can get it fixed as long as I check the levels frequent? Thanks in advance!

When I went back outside to take the pic I turned the car on and it did not drip this time but you can see where it is coming from. It looks like its coming from the petcock valve but its not thats just where the run off from the coolant is going. I'm starting to freak out just a bit since I did just buy this vehicle with 184,000 miles.

I have had issues with those drains on my XJs. Once, the drain was ejected and lost. I plugged hole with epoxy putty and it lasted years without leaking.
With that said, once I stopped using the drains and used the lower hose to drain coolant instead, I have not had issues with leaking drain fittings.
