Converting AWD ZJ to regular 2wd/4wd t-case
what is needed to convert the AWD junk to a regular 231 t-case besides the case itself. The front DS and axles have those junk CV's, what do I need to switch it over to u-joints? Easier to find a whole D30 with the same gears, or can it be done with new axle shafts, and a new yoke for the D30?

I "think" installing a 231 or 242 inplace of a 249 involves swapping the input gear from the 249 into the new transfer. Unless you get a 231 or 242 out of a ZJ. I'm not 100% on that though.
The axles, simply swap the shafts.
