confusion on oil types

what type of transfer case oil do i need to use in my 96 jeep grand cherokee limited 4by4

depending on transfer case.
247 and 249, I think, need special fluid sold only by Chrysler dealer.
that is what Limited have.
Verify, call dealer and tell them your VIN.
