Does anybody know Wat code reader/scan tool I need to read the fault code on my 2003 wj grand Cherokee? Thanks

Anything that is OBDII capable will read and clear codes on your rig. An actual scan tool is more helpful when it comes to diagnostic apps.

Yep, like said above. You can find code readers under $100 or less than $50 too. or you can find plenty of scanners up to $5000 and even over $10,000.

Go to your local parts store (oreillys, autozone) they will pull codes for free, but they also sell the cheaper code readers.

Does the OBDII ones work on it with it bein a 2003? Al the ones I hav looked at to buy say for 2004 onwards?

yep, 96 and up are obd2. Any GENERIC global obd2 scanner will work.
