Default Check Gauge's light came on and battery voltage was at 19v ?

The other day i was driving outa my neighborhood and after only driving for like 2 minutes the car beeped and the check gauge light was on.. I looked at the gauge's and the battery voltage was at 19v.

I pulled over and turned the car off, waited a few minutes and when i turned the key there was no power at all. No lights, not even a turnover or any noise from the starter. I opened the hood and the battery connection looked good. I wiggled the cable a little bit and tried to turn it on and it started however it almost died but then a second later it came back to life and sounded normal again.

Since then it has been working fine.. I had the battery tested and it was fine, however the last year the vehicle had been taking longer to start when its a cold start. Like it will turn over for like 3-4 seconds before it actually starts.. any idea's ? I notice if i turn the key to where the power comes on and let it sit there for maybe 5-10 seconds and then turn the ignition it will start right up... When the car is warm and been driven for awhile it starts right up no problem

Oh also, it seems the engine has some vibration in it. If you look at the valve cover when the engine is on you can see it shaking a little bit. If i touch it i can feal a little virbration in the engine. The mirror's when you parked shake a little bit too, not sure what this is.. The engine has a slight knocking sound too it also that seems to go away after about 1100 rpm, i was told it was a sticky lifter.

Sounds like a bad voltage regulator if it's over volting like that. As for the engine it could be a whole lot of things...

If wiggling something "fixed" the problem, look at what you wiggled and check the connections.
