Default Changing parking light bulbs - 97GC

I have some uprated front parking bulbs for my 97 GC Ltd, according to the handbook and Haynes manual you remove the top Torx screws - easy enough. Then you have to remove the bottom screws - but there is no access to them as the indicators are in the way

How do I remove the covers ?.

You have to gently move the lower light assembly down to get your screw driver onto the screw. You can pull the headlamp assembly off and out of the way to make it a little easier. Just a tug on the headlamp will make it come off. Be carefull though.

I had some time on my hands this morning and had another go at fitting the 'HID style' white bulbs.

Last week I fitted new front discs & pads which was fairly straight forward, but getting to that dammed bottom screw - putting enough pressure on the indicators to reach the screw but not crack them was a real pain

Eventually I got the bulbs fitted, but why are the seemingly simplest jobs the ones that turn out to be hardest ?.

The 'Cool white' look as opposed to the dated yellow look is really - well cool
