Sorry guys, I was mistaken. It was my ZJ that had the cam bolts. My WJ doesn't have them and IDK if they can be added or not. I suppose they could, but you'd have to bore out the mounting holes to fit the cams. It's much easier to use adjustable control arms. From what I've been told, the cams only give you about plus-or-minus 1* anyway.
Caster is what returns the steering to center when you release the steering wheel and helps stabilize the tires to maintain direction when you're "hands free". My Chevy 4x4 would violently spin back to center when you release the wheel in a turn and it only had 7* of caster. (K10, 4 leaf suspension) IDK why Jeeps don't do this. My ZJ didn't do this even without the steering damper. Maybe it had something to do with the design of the steering box. It's odd why some vehicles are totally different from others. The Chevy also was almost impossible to steer if the engine died.
Anyway, I think caster is important.

You know what I'm thinking? The bushings in the stock track bar allow a little bit of motion to absorb small vibrations whereas the heim joint doesn't. This could be the trick.
I remember you saying you wanted to see the stock track bar mounts. Here's my stock track bar with a RE bushing on the axle. See how the bushing sticks out of the bar end a little? It freaked me out at first but that's as far as it goes in. I thought it may wobble but I tightened it down and it rides as smooth as could be to 85+. Anyone else ever had their bushing stick out like that? It still "seems" weird to me.

got it to 70mph!!!! When I slow down to 55mph and below its there only if I hit a big bump. At 70 mph my hands left marks in my steering wheel! Ha!
So, I know now it's a low speed wobble only.

ok guys, so after pressing out the bushing on the new RC track bar and putting a poly bushing in, it looks like things are pretty good. i get a slight wobble when driving slow,(like i can feel it wanting to do the DW) but never does. So i took it for a 2 hour drive on interstate today, 65-70mph and it did fine
i think maybe all the DW tests might have broke a belt in a tire and thats what the slow driving wobble is from.ordered a new one today. ive never been a fan of the steering stabalizer debate but i may get a heavy duty one. And now the new project to tackle is my Transfer case
