you said there is still a lil play in the axle end of the track bar? im having the same kind of dw issue on mine, but at 45+ mph, and does not move at all at the axle end. not even a bit. (mine is a bad heim at the frame end of the track bar) i bet that is still your culprit. might wanna try a different brand track bar. ( ive had bad ball joints, control arm bushings, bad tie rod ends and u joints on each side of the axle, bad at the same time, with NO death wobble, even at 80+ mph) this has lead me to believe that those dont really cause DW. (and by DW i mean the extremely violent shaking that is set off! not bumpsteer or a lil shimmy here and there) its always the track bar. in your case it is too. you said the bolt does not move, its the bushing. it might just be a crappy quality. but anyway like i said maybe try a different bar. mine has absolutely NO play at the axle end (99 wj 4 inch long arm lift)
you might want to look into kevins off road hard kor super hard durometer bushings, they are the best for stubborn wj suspension. not sure if theyll fit the RC track bar, a different brand bar wont hurt to bad.(jks) might run you 200 with the bushing upgrade if they dont fit your trackbar, but hell try the old trackbar first, if im not mistaken, 3 inch lift is the cutoff before you even need to go adjustable anyway. keep me posted

I haven't been on here much lately. It sucks to hear you are still having problems. Did you ever see if you had room to add some shims to lower control arm brackets to get more caster?
Man, looks like this is giving you a headache. I hope you don't mind me sharing a thought from another angle. This sounds just like what we used to call "4 wheel drive Hop" back in the 60's and 70's. Same symptoms, 4x4's of every make would get extreme DW at around 42-45 MPH. and every time we came up to that speed.
Even if everything in the steering and control were new there were other reasons that would cause this 4 wheel drive hop:
Staying in 4 wheel drive after getting on the pavement or transfer case not completely disengaging out of 4 wheel on the pavement.
Not unlocking one or both front hubs even though the transfer case was not in 4 wheel. (just the extra drag of the Diff and Drive lines would sometimes cause this. could a bad ring or Pinion bearing dragging cause this on our rigs because we can't unlock the hubs from the diff and drivelines ?)
Common major causes were a Front wheel bearing or brake shoes/pads dragging badly, or a bent or broken axle.
It was just a thought, considering we can't unlock the hubs on these.
I hope you can get it ironed out!

thanks xjmike. On our WJ's, there is no way to add castor unless we put adjustable lowers on them.

So after i got out the woods today from shooting, i came home and put on the stock track bar with 16 year old bushings on. No play what so ever. The New RC bar has about a 1/8 in. of play. how can 2 new trackbars have the same problem??? UGH! anyway, the steering is so much tighter and drives alot better. i got it up to 55mph and started to feel a little shake so i slowed down. The bushings on my stocker or worn so i didnt expect much at all. So now im thinking, should i put new bushing in the stock bar or just buy an adjustable from a different company. HMMMM...
i dont want to get too excited just yet because i want to drive it for a few days to see what happens

From what Dave said it sounds like the same setup as an XJ. Loosen that bolt add a few shims more caster.

Nice man. Sounds like you've gone from 35 to 55mph and it's not as violent. That's good news. I just replaced the bushing in my stock track bar last weekend. It was a pain in the neck, but a very mild vibration I had on the highway is now gone. FWIW, if I had to do it again, I'd buy an aftermarket bar. But I had other priorities on the jeep at the time. Hope you get it straightened out.

i need a favor from someone please! could someone take a pic of there axle end trackbar bracket. i need to compare the two.
i put the stock bar on and im getting zero play. unlike the adj bar that was moving about an 1/8th inch on axle side. but im still getting DW but not as bad as before. When i say"not as bad" i just mean i can at least predict when its about to happen.
