Default A/C works fine at night only 2000 wj

2000 wj. clutch working, just had it evac/charged after I replaced accumulator w/attached hoses. No leaks, pressure test was fine. Doesn’t blow cold during day, just a lil cooler than outside. At night it’s fine. This exact problem I had with my 99’ Taurus a few years back. Can’t remember why I replaced the low pressure switch, maybe on a whim after one mechanic said my compressor was shot. But it worked, and had cold a/c on hot Bama days again. Seen a lot of threads with same symptoms, “cold at night, hot during day use”. So why did replacing low pressure switch resolve the “not cooling during the day” issue? The only threads I saw here, google/YouTube was if switch is bad it affects the clutch engaging/disengaging. I’m hoping replacing switch will work again for this issue. Think it’s like $14

Default Solved! Not sure why. A/C cycling high pressure switch

Like my old ford, this 2000 jc 4.7 compressor wasn’t cycling. Screwed new switch mounted on accumulator and cycled after 5-10 mins. No clue as to why, or when it should cycle. Only know that it should cycle and not stay on constantly

Default Spoke to soon. $1700 to replace evap, h-core and blend doors

Still not cooling like it should. Was told evap was leaking and needed to be replaced by Jeep. Only one of 4 front vents had good air flow. They said change blend doors, and did. I added heater core and and actuator door that’s hard to get to while dash was out.
Got it back, and there is no difference in temp coming from vents. Still only one blows hard. Sooo sick and frustrated. Will add more later
