I have a 99 grand cherokee and my a/c fan settings are messed up. Only the high speed setting works. The other 3 settings dont. Im pretty sure its the blower moter resistor. How do i go about repairing this? Can i just fix it without buying anything?

you will have to buy the part. the resistor itself isnt hard to replace. it's on the passenger side kick panel and its just 2 bolts that need to be removed along with the plug from what I can remember

As stated, the resistor is probably bad. This will explain it's function and location. Also has diagnostics.>http://www.wjjeeps.com/blower_motor.htm
