OK, If I got it right, all I have to do is disconnect , and isolate the negative Battery cable, and wait 2 mins, for caps to discharge, before working on the dash, and steering coulum. Is this the correct procedure? thank you

That's what I get from it. Yes. Follow the re-connect procedure also.

Default Help with my 1996 Grand Cherokee

I've been without A/C for quite some time and got the bad news about my core being busted years ago. I just did some other minor repairs and was wondering if this is something I might be able to tackle on myself. Any chance of getting the guide to this process.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

ZJ's are super easy and WJ's are even easier I can have the dash out in 45 minutes and the job done in a hour and a half.

I have a 2001 Cherokee Sport that needs the AC evaporator replaced. How do I get to it? Do I really have to pull the whole dash and instrument panel out?
