Default A/c Drain Question

My 97 GC has been leaking from the drain for quite some time till I realized it from the nasty smell. So I ripped the pass side carpet out and originally my father broke where the drain is in the interior in half to clean it out etc and it has been leaking since no matter what I use to glue it back together.. So my question is how do you remove the ac drain box itself as I would like to get one from the Junkyard. Would I have to remove the dash?

Yes. It's part of the HVAC housing.
