will do. the relays are interchangeable yea? I have like a thousand spare ones between this one and the other jeep. what if it isnt that? is there anything else other than changing the compressor?

grab a meter and check for power to ground at the electrical connection on the compressor
if no power start traceing it backwards. if you do have power and not engaged than likely the clutch. oh and you cant recharge it if it isnt running, as it relies on the compressor running to get the refrigerant to enter the system

It may as simple as the low pressure switch being bad or a blown fuse. Jump the low pressure switch plug and see if the compressor kicks on.

[QUOTE=jeff2285;1909728]i recharge ac systems with the egnine off everyday.............
impressive: my comments were directed to someone without knowledge of a/c systems. you like him will not get a system to charge just by hooking a can up to a system with a standing pressure above the can pressure. you could heat the can or pull a vacuum. but the average joe dosent know this, nor do they have vacuum pumps.
