Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter
The 42RE will have a black pan, the AW4 will have a silver pan. The switch for the 42RE is pretty cheap and easy to replace.

But if you must bypass it (i assume because a. it won't start, or b. you don't wanna fix it) then here ya go. You'd jumper connections B and C.
