Is it an early 93 with the AW4, or and older 93 with the 42RE?

I think the second

The 42RE will have a black pan, the AW4 will have a silver pan. The switch for the 42RE is pretty cheap and easy to replace.

I'd fix it.. I did mine w/o this excellent 'how to'.

But if you must bypass it (i assume because a. it won't start, or b. you don't wanna fix it) then here ya go. You'd jumper connections B and C.
