Brake lights and hazards dont work?
Just bought a 93 cherokee, and i can figure out why the brake lights wont work...for what i can see the fuses are all fine and the bulbs are fine. turn signals and and reverse lights work fine. My radio and dome light also dont work.

Howdy...I just got a '93 limited a couple days ago.
Same thing, brake lights didn't work.
Fuses were fine-
I actually got it from a guy selling it for his friend. She's a girl so I guess she let him show it/fix it up. We fooled around and found that the lights bulbs were fine, etc...
Solution was there is a switch behind the brake pedal. We took at out and tested it with a battery and voltmeter, it was fine-- seems like it was just dirty or loose and taking it out and putting it back in took care of that.
Its behind your brake pedal, under the carpet where the brake pedal goes into the firewall
looks very similar to this--I say similar because I don't remember for sure thats what it looked like...I think it had a plastic case/shim around it...

I also have copies of wiring diagrams and the repair manual for 93 if you need anything....

Is there a relay for the brake lights? Where is it?
tested the switch and went to the junkyard and got a few of em. Nothing! Im new to this thing and i dont really want to have to bring it to a shop for something that is an easy fix if i could just locate the problem.
