I have a 2000 GC Laredo that I purchased a month ago. So I put new bulbs in it for the taillights bulb 3157. I replaced them all on both sides. Well now when I press the brake pedal the right side brake light bulb goes out. When I have the lights on the bulb works but again when I press the brake the bulb goes out completely. I am new to the forum and I would def appreciate any help. I got a 7 month old lil guy at home so taking my GC to the mechanic for everything is something I don't have the luxury of doing if I don't absolutely have to.

Thx for the advice. I bought extra bulbs and tried those as well. If I swap sockets will that tell me anything?? Excuse my questions if they seem stupid. When it comes to electrical issues I'm about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. Thx again

Look for melted plastic on the lamp housing or bulb socket that might be causing an open ground on that lamp. Pretty common problem on Jeeps.
