Bottom of hvac box really hot. Normal?
Noticed the bottom of hvac box is really hot. Can’t hold my hand on it for longer than a second or two in some places. Manager said it was normal because heater core is in the box. Anyone know if this is normal? Noticed it after I got it out of shop, and was in pass seat. Felt like heat was on my leg. Felt around and, wow! Hot!
Replaced evap which was deemed bad by Jeep. Heater core, actuator were also replaced as dash was out.
Wish I would’ve noticed it prior to repairs. I never felt it hot like that in any vehicle.
Gonna bring it back in the morning. But I’m already getting smoke blown up my but like they do to lil ole ladies without a clue.
Any help/advice would be great. Just spent $1,700 and nothing’s fixed
