Do these two part connect together somehow? Does anyone have a pic or diagram of how they connect if they do?

for what year? if its got an actual axle in it, no..

if its got ifs then yes..

It's a 1998 Grand Cherokee Limited with All Time 4 wheel.

No they to not connect. The only thing that gets close to connecting is the contral arm connects to the axle. May i ask why you are asking this??

Check all the bolts and make shore that they are nice and snugg on the front end.
