Got a 04 gc rear axle seal leaking. I bought new seals but someone told me they are pressed on.. or are they c clip style?

 

The rear axles don't have c-clips. The axle bearings are pressed on to the axles and the seals are outboard or the bearings, which means the bearing must be removed to replace the seal. If you're going to replace one seal, why not do both bearings and seals at the same time? Then you won't have to worry about them for a long time.
