LS= limited slip. make sure to add a bottle of friction modifier to the diff oil when you change it. 85-90 gear oil is what you want.

sound like its coming from front drivers side but only at higher speeds. Would I use same oil in the front also? and I know my xj had a trac loc locker is it the same in this one?

Same oil, but no friction modifier is needed in the front axle. Check the ujoints in the front driveshaft and look at the hub bearings, those could be the cause of the noise.

Like 2-3 bottles per diff depending on how much you spill, front can be kinda tricky
