Default axle question

I have a 93 Grand, 4.0L I-6. I want to know if taking front axle shafts from a Cherokee would be an upgrade. I have been told this would enable me to run larger ujoints. If this is true what year Cherokee should I look for?

ZJ's already have the larger joints, assuming you don't have the cursed CV shafts.

No, I have the regular u-joints. So the swap would be for the poor guys with CV's. Thanks Frank.....

From what I've read, the 95 and up Dana 30 front axle had larger ujoints.
